From our maples... to your table!

 

 

Here are a few recipes that will make your mouth water. We will add new ones. We have developped these recipes with our own products which are great for adding a touch of flavor to meals and desserts alike.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Delicious maple cream sauce

 
¼ cup (60ml) butter
l cup (250ml) maple sugar
½ cup (125ml) cream 35%
2 tbs (30ml) corn syrup

Melt the butter in a small saucepan at low heat. Add the maple sugar, cream and corn syrup. Heat to boiling point. Remove from heat.

Gives about1½ cup (375ml). This sauce takes 15 minutes to prepare.It is delicious when served on a brochette of fresh fruit and/or on angel cake cut into cubes.

 


Apéro lacté
 

¾ cup (250ml) milk

¼ cup (50ml) cognac or brandy

2 tbs (30ml) maple syrup

Combine the ingredients and shake well.. Serve immediately

To obtain a frothy consistency the use of an electric blender is recommended. Gives 1 portion.

 

 
Maple galantine
 

1½ (375ml) chicken broth

1 tasse (250ml) water

¼ tasse (50ml) maple gelly

1 small bag unflavored gélatine

1½ cup (375ml) diced cooked chicken

salt and pepper

parsley and celery

Bring chicken broth, water and maple gelly to a boil. Add unflavored gealtine. Refrigerate for 30 minutes. Add diced chicken, parsley and celery in the mould of your choice. Refrigerate for 6 more hours.Unmould and serve with toast or as a side dish. Gives 8 portions.
